Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh has been chosen as a celebrity voter for the Miss Hong Kong 2014 semi-finals pageant and has claimed to be okay with being a diamond spinster.

During the eve of the Miss Hong Kong 2014 semi-finals Charmaine Sheh had been chosen to serve as a celebrity voter along with Kenneth Ma, Nat Chan and 'Black Heart White Soul' lead actress Kristal Tin.

'I Love Hong Kong' star Nat Chan allegedly referred to the 39-year old actress as a 'golden spinster' in attempt to tease her. It was fortunate that Charmaine Sheh took the joke good-naturedly.

When asked to react on Nat Chan's statement, Charmaine Sheh said she was not in the least bit unhappy about what the actor had to say about her and even claimed that she would have been happier if he said she was a 'diamond spinster'. She has also shared that she thinks that Nat Chan is praising her for saying the things he did and just laughed about the matter.

In an interview, Charmaine Sheh also shared that she didn't have any plans to get married any time soon and claimed to be very happy where she is at this point in time. She stated that not every one of her friends was married so she isn't alone.

Recently, the actress has also thrown a dinner bash for celebrate the premiere of the latest drama she stars in under TVB entitled 'Line Walker'. The actress co-stars in the drama with Michael Miu and Raymond Lam.

'Line Walker' premiered last August 25 and Charmaine expressed her hope that her co-stars would also throw a bash like she did. She has also shared about her confidence in the drama, stating the 'Line Walker' would continue to have good ratings.

The drama has succeeded the time slot of 'Black Heart White Soul' which had been critically acclaimed and the production team and the cast hopes that they would get great ratings just like the previous drama.
