How Popular are You on Twitter? Check Twitter's Analytics Dashboard for the Answer

Whether you tweet a lot or if you hardly do so, one question's sure to bug you.

"How many people actually care about what I tweet?"

Twitter is on its way to revealing an analytics dashboard to help you monitor feedback about everything you post. The dashboard will allow you to see how many people you've reached with each of your tweets. It'll also allow you to engage with your followers.

Like Us on Facebook

The dashboard will record information about the demographic breakdown of one's followers. A user will be able to see the percentage of both male and female followers, as well as what interests them most and where they are.

Basically, the dashboard will show a user the number of "impressions" of his Twitter activities for the last 28 days.

The total number of people who saw all your tweets will be counted. Another tab called "Engagement" will show a user how many people clicked his tweets, his avatar and his hashtags.

The dashboard will provide data about the retweets, replies and favorites. It aims to tell users how their tweets capture people's attention using just 140 characters in every message posted.

A lot of people do use Twitter to get through to their audiences much faster and more conveniently.

This dashboard will help businessmen who take it to the social world to advertise their businesses. Others that will find the dashboard helpful are journalists and politicians.

With this additional Twitter function, tweeters will be able to think more closely about what they tweet to get more feedback from their audiences.

The dashboard was previously launched last July but was only made available to certain users.
