Perennial China top flight powerhouse Shandong Luneng Taishan FC (1-2-1, 4 points) will look to gain its second win in the newly-opened 2016 Chinese Super League season as it squares off with last season's China League One champions Yanbian Funde FC (1-1-2, 5 points) at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Friday, April 15th.

The two teams are both coming off goalless draw matches as they had been struggling with their goal scoring this early in the season. It seems like both squads are still in the process of adjusting with their newly-acquired international players during last winter's transfer window.
Shandong settled for a 0-0 tie with middling club Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC on the road at the Hongkou Football Stadium last Sunday, as per Sofa Score.
While manager Mano Menezes placed known international scorers Brazilian striker Diego Tardelli, Argentine attacking midfielder Walter Montillo, and Brazilian midfielder Jucilei in the starting eleven, the team is still not able to penetrate the tough Blue Devils defense anchored by goalkeeper Li Shuai and South Korean defender Kim Kee-Hee.
It was the first drawn match for Taishan Dui this season after two losses and one win in their first three assignments as they dropped to the 14th spot of the league table.
Meanwhile, Yanbian Funde also had a 0-0 draw with Guangzhou R&F FC in their April 8th match at the Yuexiushan Stadium, via Soccerway.
Manager Park Tae-ha has four new imports, namely Serbian defender Nikola Petkovic, Gambian forward Bubacarr Trawally, and South Koreans Kim Seung-dae and Yoon Bit-garam, which could be the reason for their slow start in the first division domestic competitions this season.
Yanbian is at the 10th spot of the young league table after having two draws, one win, and one loss in their first four fixtures.
The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Shandong Luneng.
Shandong Luneng starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Wang; Zhao, Gil, Dai, Zheng; Jucilei, Hao; Wu, Montillo, Tardelli; Yang
Yanbian Funde starting lineup (4-1-4-1 formation): Chi; Jiang, Li, Cui, Wu; Pei; Kim, Sun, Yoon, Trawally; Ha
