A die-hard fan of Britney Spears has written a letter wherein he has told the star how much her songs help him come out. Spears then wrote back and sent a personal and heartfelt message to her fan.
The fan was identified as David LeCours. According to him, Britney's songs have given him the strength to show the world who and what he really is. David told the singer that her songs helped him through a really tough period in his life.

David then took it to Instagram with a picture of him and Britney saying that:
"The letter explained how she helped me get through a real tough period in my life these past couple of months, and I wanted to end it all but she made me strong. Thank you for everything Britney. I wouldn't be able to be so confident and open about my sexuality if your music and you didn't help me."
David handed his letter to Britney on August 21 after the Las Vegas show of the star called "Piece of Me" held at Planet Hollywood. According to David, just when he was about to leave the building, Britney's body guard ran after him and said that the star would like to request for his address.
The body guard added that Britney would like to respond since David's letter meant a lot to her.
David just wanted to let the singer know how much she has helped him through her songs and never expected that his idol would write him back. It's not just an e-mail or a note that it has been received but it's a letter from the singer herself.
After a week, a letter from Britney came to his mail which he shared on his Instagram page. He captioned the photo saying: "I honestly have no words at all. I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to write me back and being such an amazing inspiration to me. You mean more than anything to me and it means more than you know for responding to me. Thank you so much, I love you."
