Consumers who have been waiting for the release of Google Nexus 7 2016 may find this new update a real good news.
According to the latest speculations, the new smartphone's release date would coincide with the tech company's I/O Developers Conference in May, with the Taiwanese manufacturer HTC as its rumored third party maker. It can be recalled that HTC partnered with Google in producing the HTC Nexus 9 tablet.

While there have theories saying that the Korean company LG could be the possible manufacturer of Google Nexus 7 2016, several people may find it impossible considering that HTC 10 reportedly hinted already the five major features of the upcoming device.
In terms of screen display, it was rumored that HTC 10 has opted for the 5.1-inch, just like those used by some of the new devices from Samsung and LG.
When it comes to its expected processor, it was claimed that it will run in Snapdragon 820 SoC, which would accordingly be paired with a 4GB RAM to make the device more powerful and faster.
Its external storage, on the other hand, could be something that many consumers would cite as one of the reasons why they are going to pick it. Based on the hinted specs reportedly by HTC 10, the Google Nexus 7 2016 will come with a 2TB external storage via its microSD slot. This could be a big boost to its internal storage, which would be available in 32GB and 64GB variants.
The next exciting spec that was hinted is the 3,000mAh battery that each unit will be boasting of to support a powerful phone. After all, a powerful phone needs a powerful battery.
As with its anticipated camera, the upcoming Google Nexus 7 2016 would reportedly have a 12MP back camera and 5MP front-facing camera.
