Disney stars Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan are already engaged, the actor revealed on Twitter on Thursday.

The 22-year-old television actor and singer too to social media how delighted he was when her 20-year-old "Liv and Maddie" co-star accepted him to be her husband.

"Dedicating my 1,000th post to my fiancée," the actor wrote on his Twitter account along with a snap of them on the red carpet. "I can't believe I get to call you that. Thanks for saying yes."

"Calling you my 'boyfriend' never really felt right anyway," Dove Cameron described a selfie with her beau while on the beach, which she posted on Instagram. "Fiancée looks better on you."

Amid their engagement announcement and confirmation, especially that rumors started to swirl even a few weeks ago, there have been no news or any details yet about their wedding date and venue.

Back in May last year, the actress shared with Fanlala how grateful she was for having Ryan McCartan in her life, while recounting how their love story began.

"We went to this park, because he's just like Romeo, and he was just like-I'm so grossed out by how cute he is-but he picked me up one day from my apartment," she narrated. "He had a car and he was a hot older boy. This was back before we were like really, really dating. "

"We were just sort of seeing what happened. He took me to this park underneath a tree at sunset," Dover Cameron recalled about that sweet encounter with Ryan McCartan. "He brought this guitar and he was like, 'Do you wanna come write songs with me in the park?' I was like, 'OK!...You're what movies are about!'"
