Xiaomi Mi 5, Redme Note 3 up for Grab: Next India Flash Sale on April 20

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi's Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 smartphones will be available for purchase on the company's India website or on Amazon when its flash sale kicks off on April 20.

The flash sale be conducted at 2 p.m. local time IST for registered buyers. To take part in the flash sale, buyers have to register at Xiaomi's India website.
The Mi 5 smartphone is priced at 24,999 Rupees ($376). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor running MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow.
"Well-loved by over 170 million users, MIUI has been deeply customized for Mi 5 and regularly introduces exciting new features that you'll fall in love with," the company said.
The Mi 5 sports a 5.15-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 428 pixels-per-inch. It comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage.
It has 16 megapixel camera on the rear with dual tone flash and 6P lens. It also has a 4 megapixel camera for selfies. Powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, the handset will be available in black, white and golden colors.
Xiaomi also announced the flash sales of Redme Note 3 and 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank along with Mi 5. Redme Note 3 will be available in two variants. A 2 GB RAM variant with 16 GB inbuilt storage is priced at 9,999 Rupees ($150), while the 3GB RAM variant with 32GB inbuilt storage is priced at 11,999 Rupees ($180). The power bank costs 1,699 Rupees ($26).
The Chinese mobile giant Xiaomi, popularly known as 'Apple of China,' entered into Indian market a few years back. The company recently sold over 100,000 units of its Mi 5 and Redmi Note 3 in a flash sale during the Mi fan festival earlier this month.
"Having sold more than 100,000 units in a single day on Mi.com is one of the biggest milestones for us this year. This is the first time we have sold these many units on a single day and we are extremely thankful to all of our fans for their overwhelming support for Mi India," the head of Xiaomi India operations, Manu Kumar Jain said after Mi fan festival flash sales.
