Liam Hemsworth may have put an end to rumours that he and Miley Cyrus are engaged, but that does not mean the Wrecking Ball hitmaker can not hang out with his family members.

Cyrus, 23, joined Liam's brother, actor Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, and several other friends for a lunch at Soho House in West Hollywood, California, on Saturday.

Pataky, 39, shared a photo of the ladies' outing on Instagram. "True friends are never apart, maybe in distance but never in heart! #girlslunch #la #bestmoments #loveyougirls #missyou @gisellamarengo @martamilans @mileycyrus #michele #nora," the Spanish actress captioned the picture, in which Cyrus can be seen wearing a crop top and high-waisted Mickey Mouse jeans, with her signature tongue-sticking-out pose.

The popstar and The Hunger Games actor were previously engaged in 2013, but broke up later that year. The couple rekindled their relationship this year and have been spotted together on various occasions since January, when they were photographed partying with Chris and Elsa at the Falls Music Festival in Australia.

Rumors that the couple is engaged again started making rounds after Cyrus was spotted wearing the 3.5-carat engagement ring given to her before their split.

The couple further fueled the speculations after being spotted leaving a West Hollywood restaurant earlier this month. A week later, the two also stepped out together as a couple at the premiere of Chris Hemsorth's The Hunstman: Winter's War.

However, Liam shut down the engagement rumors once and for all after he told Australian magazine TV Week last week that he and Cyrus were "not engaged."
