Last August 27, The 13^th Annual Huading Awards commenced in China with Hawick Lau and Ada Choi being named as Best Actor and Best Actress respectively for an ancient drama.

Hawick Lau beat William Feng and Yan Yikuan in the nominations for Best Ancient Drama Actor category and has been thrown with questions regarding the issues surrounding his wife, actress Yang Mi and their daughter.

Hawick gladly answered the questions, saying that Yang Mi was in full recovery after her giving birth two months ago. He even shared that yang Mi's figure is better than it ever was. However, the actress isn't returning to work yet for child care. The actor said that Yang Mi can't bear staying away from their two-month old daughter.

The 39-year old actor has also shared his thoughts on being a father and said that he is getting used being a parent. When asked about his thoughts regarding the reality show 'Dad, Where Are We Going?' and if he has plans to join, he said that it was still too early to tell because his daughter is but two months old.

On the other hand, Ada Choi won the award for Best Ancient Drama Actress for her portrayal of her character in 'Beauty at War'. She has gone against Ruby Lin, Cherrie Ying, Ariel Lin and Yuan Shanshan for the award.

Ada Choi has also been praised for her role as empress in the 'Legend of Zhen Huan' in 2012. Ada has also shared her thoughts about 'Legend of Mi Yue' and said that she regrets not being able to join production.

Other notable winners include Chen Baoguo and Tong Liya for Best Actor and Actress, Gallen Lo and Zhang Kaili for Best Supporting Actor and Actress.

The Best Director Award went to Liu Jiang for 'We Got Married' while the Best Theme Song went to Tang Jing for the OST of 'The Qin Empire'.
