English Premier League powerhouse squad Manchester United is said to be "seriously considering" to sign veteran Swede striker Zlatan Ibrahimović to a £600k-a-week deal this summer when his contract with current team Paris Saint-Germain expires.
Metro reported that the Red Devils are keen on making changes in the offseason after what the team believes is going to be a dismal finish this season. The team reportedly deemed that signing the Swedish goal scorer could be the answer to a lot of issues in their attacking front line as they enter the next season.

The report said that United is "seriously considering paying Zlatan Ibrahimović £600,000-per-week to complete Old Trafford transfer", which would make the 34-year-old Malmö, Sweden native the highest paid football player in the world.
While the Red Devils will actually not need to pay any transfer fees if they want to sign Ibrahimović as he officially becomes a free agent this summer, the astronomical wage demand of the former FC Barcelona standout means that only a few clubs can afford him and one of them is said to be United.
The Daily Star indicated that Ibrahimović and the EPL giants are already "in talks" about the potential "monster" signing.
AC Milan is said to be desiring for Ibrahimović to return to their side next season, but it is evident that the Italian Serie A club will be no match against United's offer if it will indeed push through.
A £600k-a-week contract is reportedly double of what he is currently earning with the Ligue 1 champions and will make him at par with fellow global football superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in terms of earning power.
However, such wage will also be more than double of what current team captain and Old Trafford favorite Wayne Rooney is earning (£260k-a-week), which could become a source of conflict within the club in the long run.
Ibrahimović finished the season leading Ligue 1 with 32 goals in 27 appearances, with Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette a far second with 17 goals. Overall, he netted 41 goals in 44 games in all competitions for PSG this season, indicating that he is still at the top of his game despite his advance age.
