The original cast of  the '90s hit series "Saved By The Bell" aren't too happy about the upcoming Lifetime biopic "The Unauthorized Saved By The Bell Story".

The new TV movie is based on actor Dustin Diamond's tell-all book. Diamond played Screech in the original series and, also serves as executive producer of the biopic.

In the said biopic, the former teen stars are being portrayed to have had personal issues with each other, constantly fighting with each other during production.

Actress Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie Spano in the series, shared that she really doesn't care much about the perceived lies the TV movie will be presenting. "I don't know what they are planning, I have no idea! But I am not really curious about it because we know the lives we led and we have no idea what their picture of it is," she shared.

Apparently, the cast were unaware that there was a biopic in the works and, the network failed to get their consent.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played Zack, the main character of the original "Saved By the Bell", certainly isn't a fan of Diamond who played his best friend in the said series

Gosselaar shared that he didn't read Diamond's book but he heard that all the actor wrote about his experience was negative. "I don't remember those things because my experience on the show was very positive," Gosselaar stated.

Newbies Dylan Everett will star as Zack/Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Alyssa Lynch as Kelly Kapowski/Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Julian Works as A.C. Slater/Mario Lopez, Tiera Skovbye as Jessie Spano/Elizabeth Berkley, Sam Kindseth as Screech/Dustin Diamond  and Taylor Russell as Lisa Turtle/Lark Voorhies.

"The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story" will premiere on Monday, September 1 on Lifetime.
