Those looking to buy a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S7 but can’t afford its price have a chance at snagging one for a low price, a news report says.
According to Tech Times, the Galaxy S7 is listed on eBay for only $499.99 (about 3,238 yuan), cheaper than its original $600 (about 3,885 yuan) selling price at launch. However, it’s not entirely brand-new but only refurbished.

The smartphone model specified is the 32 GB variant of the Galaxy S7. The refurbished units are unlocked and can be used with any SIM card belonging to different carriers of network providers. It also comes with a 10-month warranty from Samsung itself
Catches
The report says these units are manufacturer refurbished and not just fixed by some repair shop, so buyers can be sure that it’s as good as new. eBay notes that the units are refurbished by a vendor that Samsung itself has approved, so it meets their criteria and specifications. On the downside, however, it has slight defects such as scratches, does not come in the original packaging, and doesn’t have a set of stock earphones along with it.
Good thing unsatisfied customers have at least 30 days from date of purchase to return the purchased smartphone. The buyer, however, will need to pay the shipping fee for returns, and will possibly be required to pay a 20 percent restocking fee.
Shopping Spree
Buyers looking for a chance to re-sell the refurbished phones will even get it better, as eBay offers discounts for buying in bulk. Those who will purchase 3 units or more will save $5 on checkout. Note that this offer is good only while stocks last.
