EU Pressing More Sanctions Towards Russia After Saturday's Summit
The European Union leaders have informed that the evident infiltration of Russian troops and rebels on Ukrainian soil only propels the issues between the countries to imminent warfare. The EU states that Russia is pushing these issues closer and closer to the "point of no return". Saturday morning, the EU delivered stricter economic sanctions to 'force' Moscow to resolve its current position.

In a one day summit, The European Union were set to deliberate who will receive the prestigious 5-year position as the 28-nation Foreign Policy Chief. This particular summit has also allowed the EU to address some rising issues in the current Ukrainian situation.
In Brussels, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko initiated the 28-nations European Union leaders, and had an immensely powerful statement toward the "military aggression and terror" facing his beloved nation. Poroshenko said a strong response to these actions is obligatory.
President Petro Poroshenko tells press and reporters that there are "thousands of foreign personnel and hundreds of foreign tanks and vehicles that are now on Ukrainian land." Poroshenko goes on to say that there is a "very high risk" not only for the "peace and stability for Ukraine", but for all of Europe, as well.
Setting different sanctions can be a highly sensitive subject, due to the fact that sanctions in one country can have an adverse affect on a country that is 'neutral' or has nothing to do with the particular conflict - especially, if these "neutral" countries' economy solely relies on the country being sanctioned.
Given the fact that several EU nations fear economical fallout in their own countries, it was not completely apparent whether the sufficient amount of unanimity required would be obtained for swift and accurate disciplinary measures. However, after the 28-nation conference it was obvious that the majority shared very similar points of view.
As of now, the US and EU have currently imposed sanctions against multiple Russian officials and numerous Russian corporations, which has ultimately attacked the country's financial stability. Moscow then issued their own 'sanctions' of a sort by banning food imports from North America and some allied countries. Some fears, this action, will only further damage the Russian economy.
At this particular time, there are no specifics on which stricter-sanctions will be hitting Russia's capitol.
