"I am stunned and heartbroken. I just spoke with him last night. Today, Jada & I mourn with all of you the loss of a beautiful poet, a true inspiration, and one of the most magnificent artists to ever grace this earth," he wrote.

Prince Rogers Nelson (aka Prince) was found dead on Thursday in Minnesota. Just a few moments after news of Prince's death broke, a lot of artists took to social media to offer their condolences, pay their respects, and share their memories of the singer.

Prince's death shocked his friends and fans, who are now all mourning and anxiously waiting for details about his death. Although the reason for his death is still unconfirmed as of this time, it is known that the legendary singer was found unresponsive in the elevator of his Paisley Park recording studio. He was 57 years old.

According to Star Tribune, a call from Carver County authorities mentioned, "a medical, Paisley Park... for a male down not breathing." Just a few seconds after the call was made, an emergency responder informed that CPR has started. Unfortunately, they were not able to revive Prince.

A post-mortem examination has been conducted and while details are yet to be released, Sheriff Jim Olson from the Minnesota county, said that there were no signs of trauma on the singer's body and that suicide is unlikely.

Prince was last seen at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Paisley Park. On Thursday morning, friends had been trying to contact him but received no response. At 9:30 the next day, he was found unconscious by his staff.
