As the world prepares for Michael Weatherly's exit from NCIS, the series' showrunner has released some spoilers on Season 13 finale. According to the spoiler, Tony Dinozzo will be facing some difficult choices that would prompt him to evaluate his present situation.

DiNozzo's exit set the undertone for the show throughout this season. In the finale, he will be facing crossroads that will force him to deal with significant issues, Gary Glasberg told TV Line.

When prodded to answer whether Weatherly's character will be killed off, the showrunner was coy. He only said that fans should remember that DiNozzo will always be part of the show but that viewers "should also prepare for an emotional roller coaster."

There is no confirmation yet if Cote de Pablo's Ziva David, who is now in Israel as per the storyline, will return for DiNozzo's final episode. One thing is for sure though - his dad DiNozzo Sr. will be there.

The EP dished further NCIS Season 13 finale spoilers when he said that each cast would have a moment with Weatherly. According to his interview with E! News, DiNozzo and Abby already finished shooting their scene, which brought tears to the crew's eyes. He and Gibbs also had their moment in the latter's ever famous basement.

Glassberg admitted that saying goodbye to Michael Weatherly in NCIS Season 13 is very emotional and hard as he has been with the show for so many years."We've spent years and years and years together and it's hard," he said.

NCIS Season 13 finale is set to be aired on May 17 with the title "Family First."
