The 19th Twenty20 of the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played between Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Suresh Raina-led debutants Gujarat Lions (GL) on Sunday. The two sides will take on each other at Lions' home ground -  Saurashtra Cricket Association Ground in Rajkot.

RCB is looking to maintain their newly found winning run in the tournament. The Bangalore franchise registered a 13-run victory over Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) on Friday. It was RCB's second victory from four matches played this season.

A 155 run second wicket stand between skipper Virat Kohli (80 off 63) and AB de Villiers (83 off 46) guided RCB to post a massive total of 185 for three in twenty overs. RPS, in reply, could manage 172 for eight in 20 overs.

Gujarat Lions, who have won three out of their four matches played so far, are looking to regain their winning streak. The new franchise lost their fourth IPL match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) after winning first three games of the season.

West Indies T20 specialist spinner Samuel Badree has been replaced in RCB squad. The team management named South African Chinaman Tanraiz Shamsi as Badree's replacement in the team.

"Brance yourselves, Tabraiz Shamsi, the Chinaman from South Africa has already landed at the RCB camp. The 26-year-old has the knack of turning the bowl a long way on both sides of the wicket and has often left batsmen bamboozled with his wrong un," RCB said in a statement on Thursday.
