Along with the new social features for Xbox SmartGlass, Microsoft announced other features on the updates.
Xbox One features an option to save the gamers' Avatar Gamerpics to OneDrive.
Gamers will be able to select multiple GameDVR clips to delete at once in the Upload app.
The console will have a Bandwidth Usage that shows gamers how much bandwidth their Xbox One is consuming over a period of time. This feature is helpful as gamers can track against bandwidth caps set by ISPs in certain locations.
It will also allow gamers to set their console to boot directly to television when coming out of connected standby.
Xbox One lets users from Brazil, Mexico, Austria, and Ireland configure live TV listings. Universal Remote Control in SmartGlass will also be available in thesecountries.
Xbox owners in Australia, Canada (French), Italy, Spain, and Mexico are not able to use the "Xbox On" Kinect voice command to switch on the consoles n connected standby (Instant On) mode.
Gamers can now post status messages from the Activity Feed, and comment and share from both the Activity Feed and Game Clips.
They can now personalize their Activity Feed along with their profiles. The messaging layout now supports a full conversation view.
It also allows game recording directly from the Now Playing bar.
For gamers that upgrade the app directly, Microsoft introduces a What's New page highlighting the features of each release.
An improved Party App allows users to change the party requirements, whether by invite or remove others from the party.
It also lets the party leader see everyone's party activities. Muting, joining or sending game invites are some of the activities possible on the party.
Xbox One will now support new file formats like Mpeg 2 TS, animated gifs and MKV, which will be added by the end of 2014.
