World no. 3 Lin Dan claimed his sixth China Masters title on Sunday after defeating world no. 1 Chen Long in straight sets 21-17, 23-21.
The all Chinese final match lasted for around 65 minutes in the jam packed Changzhou Olympic Centre stadium. Both players had to slog hard and dig deep, but Lin showed his class to prevail over his Chinese counterpart.

Lin had to come from behind in both games to set up his victory. In first game he came behind from 11-16 and 19-20 in second game.
Lin's resolute performance in Sunday's final is yet another reminder why many consider the five time world champion the greatest ever badminton player.
With Sunday's triumph, Lin's stretched his head-to-head count against Chen Long 8-2. This is Lin's third title this year. The former world no. 1 won the German Open and All-England Championship last month.
In other big results from the China Masters, China won three more titles on Sunday. In the women's single category, top seeded Li Xuerui won her maiden China Masters title, Luo Ying-Luo Yu won in women's doubles and Xu Chen-Ma Jin triumphed in mixed doubles.
The men's doubles final was an all South Korean affair. World no. 1 Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-seong defeated Kim Gi-jung and Kim Sa-rang 21-17, 21-14. With this victory, Lee Yong-dae and Yoo Yeon-seong exacted revenge on their South Korean counterparts for their Malaysian Open semi-final loss three weeks ago.
