The ubiquitous AA batteries are still your best bet for recharging your iPhone if you're outside your home.
But who wants to lug around a huge charger packed with four AAs as a spare power source?
A start-up in Ljubljana, Slovenia has found a neat solution that allows you to charge when necessary.

It's developed "Oivo," an iPhone recharger designed to accommodate AA batteries and charge the smartphone to its full capacity.
Oivo is a small and elegant accessory that solves the battery life problems common to iPhones. The US$39 device is essentially a power bank for Apple phones.
The contraption consists of two halves of a square shaped charger. You simply insert four AAs into the bottom half of the charger, place the other half of the charger on top of the batteries and you're ready to go.
Just insert Oivo into the iPhone's charging slot. You can use your iPhone even when it's attached to your iPhone.
The only thing you have to do before using Oivo is to buy four AA batteries.
When not in use, the cool looking Oivo can pass off as a key ring fob you can hang from anywhere.
In addition, you can also use Oivo as an iPhone stand when you're taking photos in both landscape and portrait orientations.
To keep the two halves of the device together, Oivo uses 10 strong neodymium magnets. Although there are fears magnets can damage mobile phones, the start-up claims Oivo is safe to use close to mobile phones and credit cards.
The company said Oivo powers-up an iPhone as fast as any outlet charger.
A common set of batteries such as Duracell's alkaline models can charge an iPhone at up to 50 percent of its capacity.
A lithium GP, on the other hand, has enough power to fully charge the iPhone.
