Gaslight Anthem front man, Brian Fallon talks about his band's new album 'Get Hurt,' following his divorce, but wont admit that he just made a break up album.
According to media reports, it had been difficult for the singer to go through the break up. The 34-year old musician stated that the album was made during the time he was going through the divorce. He has also revealed that a lot of what is in the album is about the matter on his struggles and frustrations over what has happened.

Brian Fallon shared that he had been recording during that time when it was most difficult for him, but stated that the whole album is about difficulties per se. Rather than that, he stated that the album is something everybody could relate to easily.
When asked whether he thought recording during such a time was burdensome, he said that he didn't think so and that he hopes to make art, instead of just making a tragedy through music.
As for tragedy and heartache being his inspiration for the album, he said that his inspirations change all the time. "I'm sitting here talking from one point of view today, but that may change in the future," the singer said.
Brian has also shared that it wasn't hard for him to perform the songs in the album despite the reason it was made and he doesn't relive the kind of situation behind the songs.
The new album, 'Get Hurt' is said to be a result of the New Jersey musician's experimentation on the guitar, with a more metallic edge to the guitar riffs and other added elements.
'Get Hurt' has kicked off, on the top five of the Billboard album charts. Gaslight Anthem is set to go on tour, starting September this year.
