Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden, who has popularized the hit song, 'Insensitive in 90s, has made her comeback with her new album entitled, 'Everything Almost' which will be released this coming Thursday on her Canada tour.

Recently, Jann Arden has been interviewed to talk about her album. It was the first time she will be releasing an album, after being on hiatus since the release of her 2011, 'Uncover Me 2' album, a collection of covers by the singer.

Jann Arden is currently working with the Canadian music engineer Bob Rock, who had been pushing her out of her comfort zone, to her frustration. While working with him, the singer said that she didn't have the slightest idea what exactly they were making. But according to media reports, the production is a success.

On Bob Rock, Jann Arden said that he would make her record several materials and push through with his mixing, removing an awful lot of parts, but was able to produce a good song anyway.

The 52-year old singer-songwriter has also shared that she was thinking the album would be like a rock album, but it turned out to be a pop album. She has expressed her worry over the heavy guitar riffs that could make the song sound heavy, but she was relieved, it didn't turn out that way.

On her new album, the track she has already released, ready for viewing on YouTube, is the song entitled, 'You Love Me Back' which is an upbeat electro-pop love song with whimsical lyrics.

The singer also stated that she felt great being in her 50s and expressed her wish to keep moving forward in her career as a musician.

Other than her singing career, Jann Arden is said to be co-hosting the Canadian Country Music Awards with Rick Mercer which will be aired on September 7.
