Days after kicking off her "Formation" tour, Beyoncé has mysteriously cancelled her upcoming concert in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer has pulled the plug on the show, which was supposed to be held at the Nissan Stadium on May 5. Although the reason behind the show's cancellation is not known, Beyoncé's reps confirmed that the concert will be rescheduled.

"Following Wednesday's sold out opening night Formation World Tour concert in Miami, promoters Live Nation announced that the Nashville concert previously scheduled for Thursday, May 5 will be rescheduled," the reps said in a statement to E!.

"Details about the rescheduled date will be announced shortly and Nashville tickets holders are advised to retain their tickets which will be honored at the rescheduled event," they added.

If rumor mills are anything to go by, the 34-year-old Grammy-winning singer cancelled the show because unlike most of her other shows, the Nashville concert had not sold out yet and low-ticket sales were the actual reason behind the postponement.

The "Formation" World Tour's official Twitter handle tweeted that the Nashville gig had been "postponed due to stadium construction." However, the stadium, which is home to the Tennessee Titans said in a Twitter reply to TMZ that the venue "was ready and able to host the May 5 Beyoncé show,"

The Single Ladies hitmaker's world tour kicked off on April 27 and the opening show in Miami, Florida, saw the likes of Beyoncé's husband Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross and Michelle Williams in attendance.

Beyoncé has been all over the news recently over the release of her new visual album, Lemonade, in which she apparently addresses rumors that Jay Z cheated on her with other women, including stylist Rachel Roy and singer Rita Ora.
