2016 AFC Champions League Group Stage: Suwon Samsung Bluewings vs Shanghai SIPG, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

(Photo : Getty Images) Shanghai SIPG midfielder Dario Conca. SIPG is set to face Suwon Samsung Bluewings at the Suwon World Cup Stadium on Tuesday for a 2016 AFC Champions League group stage match.
Last season's K League Classic runners-up Suwon Samsung Bluewings (1-1-3, 6 points) is set to face the second-placed team of last year's Chinese Super League, Shanghai SIPG FC (4-1-0, 12 points), in the final Group G match of the 2016 AFC Champions League group stage competitions.

The match, to be held at the Suwon World Cup Stadium in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on Tuesday, May 3rd, is the second meeting between the two squads in the said tournament. Shanghai edged Suwon in their first match, 2-1, at the Shanghai Stadium on March 2nd.
Head coach Sven-Göran Eriksson's side currently holds the top spot of Group G and has already officially advanced to the knockout stage of Asia's premier club association football tournament. The team is six points away from the second and third placers Melbourne Victory and the Bluewings, who both have six points each in the overall standings.
The Red Eagles routed Melbourne in the previous matchday, 3-1, also at the Shanghai Stadium to gain solo first place, as reported by ABC News.
Local striker Yu Hai and South American imports Elkeson and Dario Conca scored a goal each in SIPG's three-goal haul at the 38th, 40th, and 65th minutes respectively while Victory's Jesse Makarounas netted a consolation one nine minutes before full time.
Meanwhile, Suwon pulled off a 2-1 victory over J1 League club Gamba Osaka at the Suita City Football Stadium in Japan also in the previous matchday, as per Soccerway.
It was the first win of head coach Seo Jung-won's team in the tournament as they had recorded three draws and one loss as well.
Brazilian striker Santos scored a brace for Samsung at the 49th and 57th minutes while Osaka defender Yasuyuki Konno scored at the 89th to complete the final score.
The predicted result is a 1-0 win for Shanghai SIPG.
