Kit Harington has been asked about the fate of Jon Snow in the 'Game of Thrones' since the end of Season 5, and he repeatedly said his character is dead. Now that the fate of Ned Stark's son has been finally revealed, the actor can only say sorry.
Last Sunday's episode revealed that Jon Snow was brought back to life by Melisandre. The last few seconds of the show depicted that he opened his eyes as he gasped for his breath when he returned to the land of the living.

"Sorry!" the actor said in an interview with EW. "I'd like to say sorry for lying to everyone. I'm glad that people were upset that he died."
Kit Harington also revealed that he feared the 'Game of Thrones' fans would not care if Jon Snow is dead or that they would be fine with his character being dead. However, given the fans' grief over his fate, he said that it meant he or the show is doing something right.
Rose Leslie's beau then revealed that the show's producers asked him to act off-camera too to protect the secret of the Jon Snow twist.
Even HBO boss Michael Lombardo "confirmed" during an interview last August that Kit Harington's Jon Snow was killed off in the 'Game of Thrones.'
"Dead is dead is dead is dead. He be dead," he told reporters. "Yes. Everything I've seen, heard or read, Jon Snow is dead."
E! News noted the impact that Jon Snow's "death" has brought. For months leading up to Season 6 of the 'Game of Thrones,' many have put together clues that could give away what happened to Kit Harington's character.
