Did "Captain America: Civil War" actor Chris Evans just confirm that he has been dating co-star Elizabeth Olsen?

While speaking with "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" host on Monday, the 34-year-old Marvel superhero, quipped, "Apparently we're dating."

While this might sound interesting for a number of people who think that their chemistry is undeniable, the next statements of the stars may just dampen their spirit.

"Well we've been dating for like secretly for the last three years," the 27-year-old actress joked as she responded, according to Daily Mail UK. "We're actually engaged."

Following the so-called revelation, the "Before We Go" director-actor narrated about a text message exchange he had with the actress when the dating rumors between them erupted.

"I remember that," Chris Evans said. "I remember sending you a text saying 'Hey guess what apparently we're dating.'"

Elizabeth Olsen also appeared clever when she said, "'Yeah and I was like 'Oh my god that's really exciting for us.'"

"Yeah," she continued to dish. "We were about to move in with each other, but we're still trying to figure out if we're dating or not, because we don't talk instead."

Amid the "Captain America: Civil War" stars denying the dating rumors, Ellen DeGeneres never stopped from trying to squeeze out more information from them, especially that both of them are currently single.

"Think about it, don't just poo, poo it," the 58-year-old host pointed out. "I mean you're both single. And if they're saying it, maybe somebody sees something you don't."

It can be recalled that Chris Evans was previously linked with Minka Kelly while Elizabeth Olsen was with Boyd Holbrook before they called their engagement off in January last year.
