Amid the drake between Drake and Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj reportedly had to take a side and allegedly decided to dump her BFF to keep her relationship with her BF.

According to the source of Hollywood Life, the "Super Bass" singer-rapper appeared to have been forced to finally decide.

"[Nicki] is aware that [Drake] still has love for her but she had to cut all the communication off, largely to protect her relationship with Meek," the source claimed. "She had to pick a side and she chose her man's."

"Meek and Drake were going at it way too hard dissing one another and she was caught in the middle. She had no choice but to stop talking to Drake," the source added about Nicki Minaj's position over the reported Drake-Meek Mill feud. "They will always be cool but Nicki is committed to Meek. That's her man and quite possibly the love of her life."

Despite the "Anaconda" performer's decision, the "Views from the 6" artist understood it.

"I always have respect and love for Nicki," he shared with OVO radio. "I don't really talk to Nicki."

Again, another person that I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect, not only for our past and how much work and time we put in, but even just the way she dealt with the situation [regarding Birdman and Lil Wayne] at hand," he further explained. "I understand what love is, and I understand a personal situation."

In the meantime, apart from the update on Drake-Meek Mill feud, Daily Mail also reported that Nicki Minaj may not be on good terms with Demi Lovato this time.

Accordingly, based on the post of the "Heart Attack" singer's on Instagram, Trinidad and Tobago-born performer threw shade at her while attending the MET Gala event.
