The Thunder are coming off from a 98-97 victory at the AT&T Center, and with the series shifting over to Oklahoma City, the Spurs will be up in a much tougher challenge. The third-seeded Northwest Division team have been victorious in their last nine home games and recorded just one loss against the Dallas Mavericks in Game two of the first round of the series.
"Now it's our job to react," Spurs six-time All-Star Tony Parker said. "Everybody on this team understands that to win a championship, you have to win on the road. So that's our job now."
The San Antonio team have not won a game against the Thunder on the road this season. The Spurs endured regular season losses on October 28 (112-106) and March 26 (111-92) at Oklahoma City.
The Professional Basketball Club LLC-owned basketball squad has won 11 of 13 games at home against the Spurs.
LaMarcus Aldridge, who has scored a total of 79 points in the series, is expected to continue leading the five-time NBA champions Spurs along with the league's Most Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard.
"We have got to be sharp. We have got to be better, have a better start," said Aldridge, who has been shooting 33 of 44 from the field this series. "We have to focus offensively and defensively, just be locked in and all the way around better."
While the Thunder will be relying on the team's dynamic duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, who scored 57 combined points in Game 2\two after being limited to 30 points in the opening game.
