LG G5 and V10 Smartphones Certified for Enterprise and Military Use

Tech giant LG has announced that its smartphones G5 and V10 have both been certified by the United States National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) for use in enterprise and military programs.
The NAIP certification uses the internationally recognized Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme to evaluate conformity with security standards in 25 different countries, including the U.S., France, Canada, India, South Korea, Germany, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

According to LG, its G5 and V10 smartphones are equipped with the company's GATE (Guarded Access To Enterprise) technology. The GATE technology was developed in 2013 which aims to strengthen and enhance the platform application security as well as network security of the device. The technology is also capable of protecting the device from hackers.
As far as the specifications of the LG G5 and V10 smartphone are concerned, the G5 features a 5.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection in the display panel. The device is powered by Qualcomm's MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 processor paired with Adreno 530 GPU. It is running on the Android v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system out of the box along with LG Optimus UX 5.0 user interface.
On the camera front, the device is equipped with a 16-megapixel main camera and an eight-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It comes with a removable Li-Ion 2800mAh capacity battery and a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card. The connectivity options of the device include 3G and 4G Network, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, USB v3.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, and USB On-The-Go.
The LG V10 smartphone features a 5.7-inch display screen with 1440x2560 pixels resolution along with the 4th generation Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU. It has 4 GB of RAM on board and comes with built-in 32 GB/64 GB Internal memory storage.
The LG V10 features a 16-megepixel main shooter and a five-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It runs on the Android v5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box, which can be upgraded to v6.0 (Marshmallow). The device comes with a removable Li-Ion 3000mAh capacity battery.
