Chinese Super League 2016: Hangzhou Greentown vs Guangzhou Evergrande, Preview, Prediction & Predicted Lineup

Lowly club Hangzhou Greentown FC (2-4-1, 7 points) is scheduled to clash with defending champions and current league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao FC (6-1-0, 18 points) at the Yellow Dragon Sports Centre Stadium on Sunday, May 8th as the 2016 Chinese Super League continues.
Hangzhou is currently at the 11th spot of the league table and tied on points with struggling powerhouse team Shandong Luneng. The team is temporarily ahead over Taishan Dui in the overall standings because of their superior goal difference.

The Green Giants were nipped by contending team Henan Jianye, 0-1, at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium last Saturday for their third loss in four outings, as per Sofa Score.
Brazilian midfielder Ivo netted the lone goal of the contest at the 25th minute, which proved to be enough to give the win to the hosts.
Manager Hong Myung-bo's squad is on a four-game winless slide after winning two of their first three games in this term.
Meanwhile, Guangzhou Evergrande is establishing its title defense after winning its sixth consecutive match in the China top flight also last Saturday against Shanghai Shenhua, 2-1, at their home field of Tianhe Stadium, as reported by the Daily Mail Online.
Brazilian striker Alan Carvalho scored a brace to lead World Cup-winning head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari's men to the victory.
Alan netted the opening goal at the 40th minute to give the Southern China Tigers a one-point lead at the half.
Former Chelsea forward Demba Ba was able to level the count at the 69th for Shanghai, but Alan scored his second goal only two minutes after again off an assist by local defender Rong Hao.
Guangzhou extended their winning streak to six games after dropping their opening game to Chongqing Lifan, 1-2, in March.
The predicted result is a 2-0 win for Guangzhou Evergrande.
