Justin Bieber shoved rapper Desiigner at the 1OAK nightclub in New York City on Thursday night after Kanye West's protégé stepped on him during a performance.

Hours after wrapping up his Purpose World Tour concert at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Biebs headed over to the popular hotspot to party and was in the establishment's VIP section with his entourage.

Desiigner was performing his hit single Panda and in his excitement he started bouncing and jumping around repeatedly, during which he invaded Bieber's VIP section and accidentally stomped on the 22-year-old's feet, prompting him to push the 19-year-old in front.

The rapper, who was taken aback by the shove, reportedly apologized to the Sorry hitmaker before going on with his show. Initially there were reports that Desiigner was kicked out of the club after the incident with Bieber, but in actuality, he was asked to leave the nightspot after his performance because of being under the age of 21.

On Friday, Bieber took to social media to take a dig at the media and how they like to misconstrue things. He also expressed his love for social media and people.

"The media really loves to twist things," he tweeted. "Glad we have social media so they can't twist me. I love people. Plain and simple. I love people."

It's not yet clear if he was talking about his altercation with Desiigner but you can decide for yourself.
