You may not see that much of Julia Roberts every now and then but when the Academy Award winning actress appears on screen, she still commands top money-supporting role or not.
Roberts, whose net worth is pegged at $170 million, reportedly agreed to give a cameo performance for in the recently released comedy, Mother's Day, for $3 million. That means the seasoned actress got paid $750,000 a day for her four-day work.

The film, directed by Garry Marshall, pulls an ensemble, including Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis and Kate Hudson.
The film tells the story of different people whose life connects with each other leading to mother's day.
The 48-year-old star established her name as one of the most bankable leading ladies in the romantic comedy genre. She broke to superstardom in Pretty Woman in 1990, which paid her $300,000 for the role. She sustained her box-office power through the 1990s in such films as Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), The Pelican Brief (1993), My Best Friend's Wedding (1997), Runaway Bride (1999) and Notting Hill (1999).
For her eponymous role in Erin Brockovich (2000), Roberts did not just earn the Oscar for Best Actress but also joined the $20 million-club, a feat only achieved by the likes of Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp. She reportedly earned $25 million for her part in Mona Lisa Smile.
Her other hits include Valentine's Day (2010) and Eat, Pray, Love (2010). Since 1988's Mystic Pizza, Roberts' movies have grossed a total of $2.6 billion in box office receipts.
Despite the recent misses in her box-office performance, there's no doubt that Roberts is one of the most successful actresses in box-office history. "Still, she had a decade-long stretch from 1990-2000 that really is unmatched by an actress in terms of box office," box-office analyst Jeff Bock said.
