The 41st match of the ninth edition of Indian Premier League - IPL 2016 - will be played between Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians and Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore on Wednesday. RCB' home ground M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore will host the twenty20 encounter.

Mumbai Indians are on the fifth spot in IPL 2016 points table with five wins out of ten matches. The Nita Ambani owned Mumbai-based outfit will be looking to bounce back in the tournament after an embarrassing 85-run loss against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their previous IPL outing.

RCB, on the other, are placed at the sixth spot in the eight-team points table. The Bangalore franchise needs to win Wednesday's game in order to keep their play-offs hope alive.
