World Boxing Organization ruling International flyweight titleholder Zou Shiming of China has announced that the date of his maiden professional fight in the United States will be on June 11 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
Zou, who will turn 35 next week, will be facing the 19-year-old Jozsef Ajtai of Hungary in a non-title 10-round boxing match. The young pugilist has a professional record of 15 wins and two defeats, with 10 of his victories won by a way of technical knockouts.

"I'm in good physical condition," Zou said at Pudong International Airport before boarding a US-bound flight. "I will have one-month training with Freddie Roach to prepare for the bout."
The popular boxer from China has fought seven times in Macau and had his recent bout in Shanghai, where he handed the then undefeated Brazilian Natan Santana Coutinho his first professional loss by a way of an eighth-round technical knockout on January 30.
Zou has a professional boxing record of seven victories, one defeat and two knockouts. He is a three-time Olympic medalist (gold in 2012 and 2008 and bronze in 2004) and is seen as the fighter who paved the way for big-time professional boxing in China. His suffered his only loss at the hands of Thai Amnat Ruenroeng.
According to Shanghai Daily, Zhang Chuanliang, the Chinese boxing sensation's mentor, will be accompanying Zou to the U.S.
"It's been three years since I first went to Los Angeles," Zou said. "I want to show Zhang my home in the US; he will also help me in my preparations for the bout."
Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum has said that a victory in the US will boost Zou's chances of landing a world title fight later in autumn. Zou will be the first Chinese professional boxer to fight at the Madison Square Garden.
