American actress and producer Lena Dunham has taken to Twitter to express her disapproval and disgust over the leaked nude photos and videos of numerous celebrities recently, condemning the unidentified hacker.
In a series of tweets, Lena Dunham has tried to send out word to her supporters and the public alike to discourage the leakage of the nude photos online by not patronizing or viewing them.

In one tweet, the 28-year old 'Girls' actress stated that it should be an individual's choice how he or she should share his or her body. In a separate post, she has encouraged people to support the women who were victimized online through the leakage of their nude photos or videos. Additionally, she has likened the act of viewing the photos and videos to repeatedly violating the victims.
"It's not okay," says the actress in her post.
On another post, Lena Dunham wrote, "Seriously, do not forget that the person who stole these pictures and leaked them is not a hacker: they're a sex offender."
The actress, who has also written and produced the indie film entitled 'Tiny Furniture' and created the HBO original series 'Girls', posted on her Twitter account in lieu to the various naked videos and photos of celebrities - actors and musicians alike - being leaked online, the latest one being that of former Downton Abbey actress Jessica Brown Findlay and 'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence.
On previous reports, several female celebrities made headlines last August 31 after nude photos of them have been revealed online one after the other. The list of artists included Kate Upton, Ariana Grande and even Victoria Justice.
It hasn't yet been confirmed whether Kate Upton's photos were fake or real, but Jennifer Lawrence's management has already stated that the photos of the actress were legit. The two actresses' legal representatives have both threatened legal action against whoever is responsible.
