Taiwanese supermodel and actress Lin Chi-ling was said to have been "ambushed" by a male admirer while she held a fan photo session on a Dongguan, China stage last Friday.

Lin was giving fans the chance to interact with her while she was on stage. Fans asked her to pose 10 times for different photos while she was on stage. She gladly did that, reports said.

However, in the middle of the photo-taking session, a male fan suddenly rushed to the stage, arms wide open, as if he were going to hug the 39-year-old actress-model.

As opposed to the reaction everyone expected from Lin, the model, known for her high emotional intelligence, didn't seem shocked by the male fan's sudden stage appearance. Instead, she maintained aplomb, smiled at the fan and remained graceful through the whole encounter.

Lin even happily took some snapshots with her evidently over-avid fan.

In other news, Lin has been spotted recently walking down the street with a mystery man after leaving a fashion event together. The couple reportedly reacted with alarm when they spotted the media. they hustled away from the scene fueling netizens' assumptions that they were dating.

Lin later refuted those rumors, saying the two were just good friends. However, recent reports quoted her saying she had been single too long. This may have caused the public speculation that her friendship with the mystery man was a kind of romantic relationship.
