Lenovo Unveils Trio New Tablet and Gaming Systems

(Photo : pictures.reuters.com) Chinese personal computer and smartphone maker Lenovo Group Ltd aims to sell 100 million smartphones and tablets this year.
Another first for Lenovo is its touchscreen laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M graphics chip for extreme gaming performance.
Lenovo's Y70 houses a 17-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside stereo speakers and subwoofers by Dolby, marking it as Lenovo's largest gaming laptop.

Interestingly, it weighs only 7.5 pounds, which makes it lighter than most laptops in its class.
The Lenovo laptop brings 16 GB DDR3L and 256 GB SSD storage or 1 TB SSHD storage with up to five hours of battery life. It will be available beginning this October with a starting price of US$1,299.
Lastly, Lenovo also announces its latest addition to the line of affordable gaming desktops.
The Erazer X315 features AMD Radeon R9 series graphics with up to 12 GB of RAM and Dolby-enhanced 7.1 channel sound support. The duo of power and speed gives gamers the benefit of extreme and seamless experience without lag.
The new desktop supports 4 USB 3.0 ports. Its newly designed chassis is intended to look like a knight's armor.
It will be available only in North America beginning this November at US$599.
