The 45th match of the ninth edition of Indian Premier League - VIVO IPL 2016 - will be played between Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) and Gautam Gambhir-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday night.

KKR' home ground Eden Gardens in eastern Indian city of Kolkata will host the twenty20 league match.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are currently on the fourth spot in the IPL 2016 standings with six wins out of ten matches. The Shahrukh Khan-owned outfit remains in contention for a play-off berth with twelve points.

The two time IPL champions are looking to inch closer to play-off when they take on the struggling Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS). Indian twenty20 cricket skipper Mahindra Singh Dhoni-led Pune franchise is already out of the play-offs race. The new IPL side stands at bottom of points table with just three wins out of eleven matches.
