Meghan Trainor took a hard tumble while performing her new song on Thursday night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Trainor, who was wearing a tight sparkly blue dress and high heels, was on the talk show to promote her new album Thank You and was in the middle of a high-spirited performance of her song Me Too, when she lost her footing and fell.

The All About That Bass hitmaker tried to regain her balance by trying to grab the microphone on her way down, but it wasn't enough and the 22-year-old fell flat on her back.

Trainor took the fall like a champ and laid on the floor before host Jimmy Fallon came to her rescue and like the gentleman that he is, saved her from the embarrassment and accompanied her on the floor.

"Of every single dance move, grabbing the mic is the toughest," Fallon quipped, before asking the audience to give the singer a standing ovation for her energetic performance.

"Might have fell down, but I KILLLED that sh*t hahaha #keepinitreal," Trainor wrote on Instagram after her performance. She later replied to a fan's question on Twitter about whether she was still in pain. "Haha I didn't feel it till hours later. I'm all good tho. Barely a scratch," she tweeted before posting a series of GIFs and videos of her fall.

Trainor may not have felt the pain at the time but she told Good Morning America's Robin Roberts on Friday that she was covered in bruises. "I'm feeling it today. I feel little bruises everywhere," she admitted but said she was okay.
