Indian superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Kabali' is all set to storm the box office on July 1.

 "The film was earlier slated to release in June. It has been now pushed to July 1,"an source told Indo Asian News Service. "The makers had also planned to release on July 7 but have advanced the release to avoid a clash with Salman Khan's Sultan."

The recently released teaser of the movie has garnered 17.1 million views on YouTube, becoming most watched teaser in the history of India's film industry. The one minute and six seconds video got a record 10 million views within three days of its release on YouTube.

"Though I liked the teaser, I was initially afraid about the fans' response. The teaser has been cut in an unusual way and all of us were anxious on how it will be received by fans," the director of the movie Pa Ranjith said. "However Thanu sir ( producer) was confident about the teaser and he kept saying it will be well received. I am now happy that the teaser has satisfied the fans of Rajini sir ( Rajinikanth). This has also enhanced my confidence about the film."

The movie, which also stars Radhika Apte, Attakathi Dinesh, John Vijay, Dhanika, Koshire, Roshan, Nassar and Winston Cho along with Rajinikanth, is produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu under V Creations' banner.
