As filming for "Fifty Shades Darker" is moving well, a recent news report revealed that another character has been added to give more excitement to its plot.

According to Melty, Tyler Hoechlin is joining as Boyce Fox, the author who would have a connection with Dakota Johnson's Anastasia "Ana" Steele.

While the role of the 28-year-old "Teen Wolf" actor was not so visible in the narrative of E.L. James in her book, it appeared that Boyce would play an important role in Ana's life in the movie adaptation.

It was noted that in the novels, including the "Fifty Shades Darker," the newly-added character is the first author of Ana in SIP or the Seattle Independent Publishing whom she decided to not meet anymore for the first time after she got a call from her former boss, Jack.

In an interview with Hey U Guys, Hoechlin gave a glimpse of his character in the Jami e Dornan and Dakota Johnson-starrer.

"So I'll tell you what I can tell you," the actor who played Tom Hanks' son in "The Road to Perdition" narrated." Boyce Fox is an author that Dakota Johnson's character is very fond of his work and so he is someone she is interested in bringing into the company, and that's all I can say."

Apart from the actor who was confirmed to be joining the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie, earlier news reports already disclosed the inclusion of Bella Heathcote, Kim Basinger, Eric Johnson and Hugh Dancy in the long list of cast members who are set to make its story even more interesting.
