The Toronto Raptors have successfully navigated their way to the Eastern Conference Finals for the very first time in the history of the franchise.
The Raptors defeated the Miami Heat in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Semifinal series four games to three. They will now face the conference defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers, who are undefeated in the postseason.

The LeBron James-led Cavaliers have swept all their opponents from the first-round and the second-round.
Toronto was the second-best ball squad during the regular season having won 56 games in 82 matches played.
"It's great to hear the home crowd," DeMar DeRozan said. "This organization deserves it, this country deserves it, to see them get to the next step, somewhere they haven't been. But we're not done yet."
When the 2016 postseason began, the Raptors had never won a seven-game playoff series. Now they have won two; first in an apprehensive finish against the Indiana Pacers and second in impressive fashion against the Miami Heat on Sunday.
"I think this group is hungry," Toronto's head Coach Dwane Casey said about his team. "Never say never."
Toronto's All-Stars Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan will now have a legacy of their own. They were the key players of the Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment-owned team that carried it higher.
"We know we've got a tough task ahead," Lowry said. "It's always a challenge going against those guys."
Since the Raptors' inception in the year 1995, Toronto have made the league's playoffs eight times (2000, 2001, 2002, 2007, 2008, 2014, 2015 and 2016), advancing past the first round twice in the year 2001 and 2016. The team has won the Atlantic Division four times (2007, 2014, 2015 and 2016).
