Descendants of the Sun actor Jin Goo and his wife are expecting another baby.

BH Entertainment, the actor's agency, officially announced the exciting news on May 17. The statement read, "Jin Goo's wife is pregnant with her second baby. She is currently in her fourth month of pregnancy."

Jin Goo wed his non-showbiz wife back in September 2014, and she gave birth to their first baby in June 2015.

Meanwhile, while there are rumors swirling around that there might be a second season of Descendants of the Sun. Jin Goo seems to be currently busy with other projects, filming various commercials and appearing on several variety shows.

South Korea's drama Descendants of the Sun was a big hit among Asian viewers, so plans of having a second season are no surprise. In fact, Soompi reported that Jung Sung-ho, the head of KBS' Drama Department, said that they are currently in talks with the network regarding plans for a second run of the drama starring on-screen couple, Song Joong Ki, and Song Hye Kyo.

According to him, creating another season is a way to thank their viewers. "KBS will strive to produce a second 'Descendants of the Sun' to meet expectations and repay viewers. We plan to launch a 'Descendants of the Sun' project for broadcast in 2017 through negotiations with the cast and production team," he said.

Unfortunately, news about a second season has not been consistent. Descendants of the Sun co-writer Kim Won-suk previously mentioned in an interview that they have no plans for a season two.

However, if ever a second season comes to fruition, fans should know that it would not pick up where it left off. It will technically be a new show as it will have a different story line.
