'The Conjuring 2' has debuted a creepy new featurette showing interviews from the real-life haunting victims Janet and Margaret Hodgson as well as the real Lorraine Warren. The upcoming sequel will focus on a single mother trying to raise four children in London as their home is plagued by evil spirits.

According to Screen Crush, director James Wan's upcoming sequel is based on the true-to-life case of the Enfield Poltergeist hauntings. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return to reprise their roles as famous paranormal investigators Lorraine and Ed Warren, respectively.
The new featurette from Warner Bros. includes various interviews with real-life haunting victims as well as Lorraine Warren. The interviews were taken from the original audio and video recordings from the case.
Although the official trailer for the movie presented some hair-raising scenes, the newly released documentary-style featurette proved even more disturbing. The real Lorraine Warren is joined by two haunting survivors, Margaret and Janet Hodgson, as they discuss the original events that transpired in their home in Enfield, England back in the 1970s.
In the featurette, Janet recalled her experience as a child "abused" by a malevolent spirit. She admitted, "I think if I had to go through it again, it'd kill me."
"We got out into the neighborhood that there was something strange going on in our house... and it became known as 'The Strange Happenings in Enfield,'" her sister Margaret added.
The recordings revealed that Janet was possessed by the entity, heard voices and witnessed furniture moving around on their own. Wan used her story as the inspiration behind the film.
"With the Warrens, out of their repertoire of cases that they have investigated over their lifetime, the haunting of the Hodgson family is one of their most interesting ones," Wan said.
'The Conjuring 2' is an upcoming supernatural horror film intended as the sequel to the 2012 blockbuster hit of the same name. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 10, 2016 and stars Farmiga, Wilson, Franka Potente, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Frances O'Connor, Madison Wolfe and Lauren Esposito.
