The recent events in "Arrow" Season 4 have proved to be pivotal for the entire show. While Steven Amell's Oliver Queen has improved how his team operates, he also lost prominent members, including Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), also known as Black Canary.

Following Laurel's death, tension among the remaining group members intensify. This will even their group dynamics, with members making difficult decisions going into the next season. Diggle (David Ramsey) is feeling guilty over Laurel's death and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) wants to take a step back from his relationship with Oliver. Thea (Willa Holland) is also going through an internal struggle, fighting off her own demons as she faces a tough decision.

"Thea had bloodlust earlier in the season and since then has been questioning her place on the team, and questioning whether or not she is Speedy, which goes back to her character's struggle with whether she's more of a Queen or a Merlyn," "Arrow" showrunner Wendy Mericle told TV Guide. She revealed that these questions will be resolved in the Season 4 finale, and fans could expect a rather surprising answer.

The final episode for the fourth season will give "a good clue" about what's to come in "Arrow" Season 5. Mericle teased that the forthcoming season will undergo major changes.

The most recent dilemma that unfolded in "Arrow" also sets the tone for the upcoming season, as well as how things in "The Flash" and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" could turn out.

In "Schism," Damien Darhk puts his evil plan into play by engaging nuclear warheads towards target areas all across the globe, Forbes reported. His plan, basically, is to take control of the world by blowing it up and starting anew. The deaths will also strengthen his magical abilities.

Darhk sets a Russian nuke for Starling City, but Felicity manages to change its trajectory and have it hit a smaller. This does not exactly call for a celebration. Although Team Arrow is saved, thousands of people still dies from the explosion.

Oliver will probably need The Flash (Grant Gustin) and the "Legends of Tomorrow" team to go back in time and fix things, since a nuke detonation in another side of the country still spells trouble for the heroes.
