VMware Fusion and Fusion Pro 7 Add More Features for OS X Yosemite

VMware, Inc. has released the updated VMware Fusion 7 for Windows apps that give users a Mac experience.
VMware Fusion 7 is now enhanced to fit into the latest Mac hardware and software. The company is also releasing VMware Fusion 7 Pro with state-of-the-art features for advanced users, developers and Macs in businesses.

"As the popularity of Macs continues to climb, Fusion 7 and Fusion 7 Pro are a strong complement to help users bridge the operating system divide when switching from Windows PCs to Mac laptops and desktops," said Nicolas Rochard, director of product marketing, End-User Computing, VMware.
The company also said there will be more than 50 new features in VMware Fusion 7. These features are designed to match OS X Yosemite and ncludes the typeface, translucency and more.
Users can use VMware Fusion 7 to run Windows applications without rebooting. VMware Fusion 7 is recommended for new and existing Mac users who still want to use critical Windows apps.
Performance has been enhanced for the better, said VMware.
It includes Retina Display Optimization that delivers a crisp and detailed experience when using Windows apps.
The efficiency rate has been increased by reducing the energy impact on Macs. It helps users do more on a single charge.
Reduction in Idle Wake Ups lets every watt of power from a Mac's battery be used as efficiently as possible at up to 42 percent.
VMware Fusion 7 can support Intel Core i5, i7 and Xeon E5 processors. It has 43 percent improvements in CPU intensive operations like multimedia, encryption and decryption, and others.
Under its belt are faster memory, faster SSD performance and greater power.
It also delivers virtual machines with up to 16 vCPUs, 8 TB virtual disks and up to 64 GB of memory to run a lot of apps. It also allocates 2 GB of video memory per virtual machine.
Purchasing VMWare Fusion or Fusion Pro between August 1 and September 30 will give users a free downloadable upgrade.
Upgrading to VMware Fusion 7 costs US$49.99 and US$79.99.for VMware Fusion Pro 7.
