Google is now ready to launch Android One in India.
The company will hold an event on September 15 and probably to introduce Android One to the developing countries.
Android One is the official reference design for low-cost phones. Android One, however, suffers from two cons: Android forks and user experience fragmentation.

Android One features a stock UI that won't allow manufacturers to add any special touches to the operating system. This results in a consistent interface across brands and gadgets.
It also helps Google make more money since users experience an unadulterated experience.
Google has been pushing updates to its Android devices on a uniform basis. This means Kitkat can work on low- to high-end phones and tablets.
Google partners with manufacturers Karbonn, Micromax, Spice, Celkon and Intex for its Android One program.
New Android One smartphones will be rolling out this September.
Samsung will compete with Google in terms of pricing. Recently, the South Korean electronic company launched its own operating system called Tizen due to the fact it won't be able to rely on Android for long.
Samsung is steadily losing market share to Indian brands like Micromax and Karbonn.
Meanwhile, Mozilla's Firefox phone is also competing against Android One in terms of price.
