Hong Kong singer-songwriter and actor Kenny Bee, known for shying away from the idea of marriage, is said to have gotten hitched to his long-time girlfriend Fan Chiang due to his young daughter's urging.
Chung Yi, Bee's 10-year-old daughter, supposedly asked her father why he and Fan didn't have any wedding photos. Speculations say that because of this, the artist has finally decided to get married and give his daughter what she was wishing for.

Last Aug. 25, the 61-year-old artist has gotten married to his long-time partner Fan in a ceremony held in Bali. The wedding ceremony was witnessed by their close friends, family and their two daughters who played the role of flower girls and ring bearers during the wedding.
According to the media reports, Bee said that he finally decided to marry Fan in order to give her a status as well as an account for his two daughters. The singer-songwriter said his children kept on asking him why their classmates' parents had wedding photos while he and Fan Chiang did not.
"That's why I started thinking about getting married," Bee said, looking young and energetic despite his age and having two daughters from his previous marriage.
The public thinks it is a romantic thing when someone's daughter plays matchmaker. According to a media outlet, Chung not only made her parents get married, but she also designed Fan's veil. Bee's 10-year-old daughter also sang at the wedding.
The two little girls finally have wedding photos to show their classmates, a bonus being that of the many celebrities that attended the wedding and also took snapshots with the family.
According to media reports, the wedding cost roughly HK$5 million, which was all paid by Kenny Bee himself.
