However, the court announced that he would only serve 30 years in prison as it is the maximum period for a fixed-term imprisonment.
Lee was known to be a high roller at clubs due to his financial status, as well as his talent in ensnaring beautiful women, including celebrities like Taiwanese models Terri Kwan and Maggie Wu.
Though he maintained his innocence on the crimes pinned on him, the Taipei District Court convicted Lee in September 2013 for charges relating to raping 9 women and filming 17 women doing sexual acts without their consent.
The 29-year-old son of former Yuanta CEO Lee Yueh-tsang had a disturbing vice of targeting women in clubs, lacing their drinks, taking them to a hotel room, and raping them while they were unconscious.
He managed to collect 25 gigabytes worth of pornographic footage, including 178 pictures and 93 videos organized into a classification scheme based on 'performance rating,' grades for 'tightness' and 'wetness', victims' attributes, and sexual preferences.
Lee used the footages to either show off to his friends of blackmail the victims, especially the rich and famous. Among his victims are at least 60 models, actresses, TV hosts, and artists.
According to reports, Lee has collected a total of 883 minutes worth of pornographic video involving an average of 16 women per month.
To put an end to his scandalous crime spree, two of his victims filed a case against him in 2011. This led to his arrest in November 2012.
Aside from the two victims, who happened to be sisters, the playboy socialite was also accused of date-raping some 34 women since 2009.
