Shoe company Nike has teamed up with coffee giant Starbucks to create a coffee-inspired pair of sneakers that will surely be a hit among sneaker-loving coffee drinkers.

While Nike is known to collaborate with other companies to create new designs, the idea that it will partner with Starbucks is quite unexpected. Still, as surprising as it is, the collaboration came true and has given birth to a pair of SB Dunk Lows that are coffee- and Starbucks-colored.

The Nike SB Dunk Low “Starbucks” premium features a canvas upper that will remind wearers and onlookers of a nice, hot serving of macchiato, according to Highsnobiety. The coffee-brown color swirl is complemented with Starbucks’ iconic green as seen in the borders, tongue, Swoosh and outer sole. The shoe still has the Nike feel, with the welcome addition of some caffeine-laced looks to its overall appeal.

For those who think the collaboration is quite weird, just think about this: Nike has also released a chicken and waffle themed shoe, the SB “Waffle” Dunk High. This ensemble is wheat-colored, accented with syrup colors notably on the Swoosh that looks like it was dipped in it, as well as the outer gum sole.

Nike is yet to release the backstory behind the SB “Starbucks” Dunk Low. It could go down to regional partnership as the Portland-based shoe giant and the Seattle-based coffee franchise are both based in the Pacific Northwest.

The Nike SB “Starbucks” Dunk Low is now available for $100 through select retailers.
