Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White shared his thoughts on Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva's current predicament, stating: "He'd have been better off testing positive."
Silva's license to fight has been suspended when due to fleeing from a random drug test. The Nevada Athletics Comission (NAC) is seeking disciplinary action against Silva's action.

The NAC arrived at Silva's gym one day, to enact a random drug test for his upcoming fight against Chael Sonnen. Instead of proceeding with the test, Silva went out the back door of his gym and drove away to avoid giving positive samples.
He has since apologized for his actions and explained that he did not want to give samples because he was on diuretics to reduce inflammation on his wrists - a substance that is banned under the regulatory bodies' guidelines.
Silva and his lawyers also recently filed for a motion to dismiss the charges.
This is due the fact that at the time, Silva was not licensed to fight in Nevada, which should mean that cannot subject him to testing. They therefore have no right to subject Silva to any sort of punishment.
The Nevada attorney general's office replied, saying that Silva was aware of his upcoming fight, negating the fact that he did not have a license.
This was recently countered with another motion by Silva's representation, saying that the rules clearly state that any form of punishment is only applicable to fighters who hold a license in Nevada.
White says that Silva will not be able to avoid punishment despite his lawyer's motions.
"I just can't see that happening," he said. "He was wrong."
Silva has not fought since March of 2013, where he knocked out Brian Stann.
His suspension could reach as long as nine months.
